In Canada, male grooming products will reach $19.5 billion[1], which is a 27% increase from 2004 to 2008[2]. Since the emergence of metrosexuality in 1998, there has been an increase of 80% in grooming products, making men’s grooming the fastest growing market[3].
iBFrank is the first male grooming and accessory company in Toronto. The company was created to provide men with a comfortable environment to improve their physical and spiritual well-being, all within a one stop shop. The founders of iBFrank use Benjamin Franklin’s morals and beliefs as the foundation for the company. Benjamin was famous for living by his thirteen virtues and words of wisdom, such as “Honesty is the best policy” and “Energy and persistence conquer all things.”
The main objective of iBFrank is to help men improve themselves. We believe that by enhancing men’s exterior appearances, they will feel more confident and be a better performer in everything they do. It is a dog eat dog world and first impressions are extremely important. Especially in the 21st Century where your face is your business card and if you do not present yourself well, you can easily lose the deal.
iBfrank is an innovative company that thinks outside the box. The staff is not afraid to express their point of view and thrive on providing the clients with simplified and honest customer service.
iBFrank believes in educating the clients not only on skin care regime and camouflage applications, but also on nutrition and lifestyle. The founders know that the challenge with the male grooming industry in Canada is the lack of information. Men are told to use grooming products but don’t know why or where to look for the answers.
iBFrank is a proactive company that goes to the public and helps increase their awareness through marketing blitzes, live appearances and online networking.

Humara Kausar (Chief Commander & Co-Founder, iBFrank Limited)
Humara Kausar was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She has completed the Professional Make-up Artistry Diploma at Complexion International School of Make-up and is currently finishing her Business Management Degree at George Brown College.
Humara has worked in the cosmetic industry for over eight years. She started with Shoppers Drug Mart Canada and is still with the company. Humara’s numerous employment roles as a craft teacher, an assistant accountant and retail sales representative have increased her managerial and business skills.
Together with Annie Kue, Kausar co-founded iBFrank Limited in June 2007 and became Chief Commander of the company. Besides cosmetics, Kausar’s other fascinations are gadgets and literature. Her passions have aided iBFrank to be more than just a grooming company for men, but also a company that educates men on how to simplify their lifestyle.
Kausar’s colourful background has influenced iBFrank’s vision of being an “outside the box” corporation. This approach benefits iBFrank because male grooming is still a niche 21st century market that is slowly improving. Kausar’s innovative thinking has made iBFrank stand out from other competitors with its unique marketing ideas.
Annie Kue (Principal Director & Co-Founder, iBFrank Limited)
Annie Kue was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She has her BA in Social Development Studies and Certificate in Social Work from the University of Waterloo.
Annie has worked in the cosmetic industry for over eight years. She started with Shoppers Drug Mart Canada and is still with the company. Annie’s educational background in life span counselling has enabled her to excel in her managerial roles in the food industry, increasing profit sales from small business companies to retail banking, and multitasking skills as an executive assistant in an investment firm.
Together with Humara Kausar, Kue co-founded iBFrank Limited in June 2007 and became Principal Director of the company. Kue’s passion in educating others with random knowledge has helped iBFrank broaden as a corporation tapping into different male channels.
Kue’s blunt and to the point personality impels the vision and mission of iBFrank to follow the virtues of Benjamin Franklin. Kue is a prime example of proving that “not everything is what it seems”, which aids the company to view every issue and angle in a different light.
